Bare Knuckles Creative is a collective of video, audio, motion graphics and animation professionals who specialize in short form content creation.
Covering all aspects of production and post production and armed with nearly 20 years of collaboration, Bare Knuckles Creative has a proven track record of producing successful and compelling content since 1996. With the combined skill and experience of Buddy Hall, Chris Basta and Chris Nicholson along with their team of producers, composers, copywriters, shooters, editors, animators and sound designers—provide work for a client roster including, but not limited to BBDO, Netflix, Ford, 22Squared, Sweetwater, AMC, Toyota, BBC, and Georgia Power (to name a few).

THE TEAM
Buddy fell in love with audio/video production in college at GSU as head of operations/DJ for campus radio–producing PSAs for the station and TV & radio commercials for local business. He moved to Atlanta to work as a mixer and head of studio operations. In 1996, he stepped away from the mixing board for LA-based Todd-AO's new studios in ATL to be audio producer--handling budgets, casting & creative direction--eventually as VP of Operations. Bare Knuckles was born in 2013. If he's not working as Executive Producer, you can find Buddy immersed in his favorite extracurricular activity–saltwater fishing.
After graduating from Millikin University with a major in Commercial Music, Chris Basta - aka "C1" - moved to Atlanta to begin his audio career. A quick study with a strong work ethic, Chris was promoted early-on to a full-time sound designer, composing music and mixing for clients including Home Depot, Coca-Cola and Ford, which is still a client today. C1 joined the Bare Knuckles team in 2016 where he and Buddy, Founder of BK, concentrate on audio for advertising, video games, episodic TV, film, and original composition. A musician since childhood, Chris Nicholson - aka "C2" - received his degree in Audio Production from the Art Institute of Seattle before pursuing a career as a recording engineer/club DJ. It was when he was asked to create a music bed for a commercial—and he saw the result of his work against pictures—he knew he'd found what he was meant to do. He relocated to Atlanta to design soundscapes, write music and mix at a variety of facilities (like Turner Studios, Cartoon Network’s Game Studios and Deluxe). Now a re-recording mixer and sound designer at Bare Knuckles Creative, C2 is over 6' of double-sleeved goodness—both talent and heart. See more of Nicholson’s work on IMDb.
